Our store began in the early 60's under the name Amick's Repair Shop, primarly as a Snapper Mower and McCulloch Chainsaw Dealer. The company was sold to Billy Flinchum, an employee at the time, in 1970. From this time on it has remained as a family business with numberous sales awards and the best service in the Triad. While under Billy's owership the company grew to two retail stores and was highly recognized as one of the Largest McCulloch dealers on the East Coast. He was on the McCulloch Factory Dealer Advisory Committee for many years, helping the manufacturer with real hands on experience. McCulloch finally sold out to Black & Decker and soon fell victim to a large conglomerate.
As One of the Largest Snapper dealers on the East Coast with over 47 years relationship with the manufacturer. The company grew until Bill had health problems and in 1997 he sold the business to two of his sons Dean and Tony, and Tony's wife Gail. Dean and Myra Andrews married and she became the fourth owner of the company. Since this time the company has looked at many opportunites to expand the product offering. With over 90% of the core business Lawn and Garden Equipment, this is our main focus. Our company has doubled it's volume of business in the last few years and we invite you to be a part of our growing success.
