this saw is a sleeper saw! it screems, and it has some torque for being so small. i was cuting some really hard wood, so hard my axe bounces off of it at full swing, about 17" in diameter i was cutting down the center so i could get a better wack at it with my axe, that saw cut it good. it is a small saw so dont think it is the do it all saw but it sure is surprising for a 50CC. i use a 3.7 ci eager beaver from 1985 all restored it reminds me of that because of the small motor but has torque doesnt loose its speed as easy as you would think. this is also very light and super easy to handle. great for your wife or kids to get started with, it is a baby compared to a 372xp or my eager beaver, makes it feel like it is very small. botom line super saw for 11.2 lbs cant beat the price either much better build than other makes because it is made simple the way a saw should be!

I've used Stihls, huskys,Jonserds Homelites, and McColluch. The dolmar smokes them all. Starts great and cuts like a hot knife through butter. I put up wood for my grandfather and myself, best investment yet.
